Review of pilot proficiency and knowledge
Required for every pilot every 24 months per FAR 61.98 (b)
Minimum 1 hour ground instruction + 1 hour flight instruction
May be combined with a rental checkout
Required to operate any aircraft that has all of the following:
Retractable landing gear (land aircraft only)
A controllable-pitch propeller (includes constant-speed propellers)
Movable or adjustable flaps.
Required during commercial training
Required to operate any aircraft with an engine of more than 200 horsepower
Required for any job flying high-performance aircraft
May be combined with a rental checkout or transition course
Achieve stick and rudder skill above the level of traditional-gear pilots
Required for pilots looking to make a career in Alaskan flying, banner tow, or spraying operations
